Summer solstice rolls around at 11:28 this morning; summer begins, but I’ll be skipping the annual solstice sunrise ritual tomorrow morning. The forecast is cloudy, and besides that eight years in a row at the same lookout is enough, for me, for now, anyway.

Maybe next year I’ll be somewhere far away to discover the occasion anew. Maybe not.
