A few months back I was invited to photograph one of Victoria’s most beautiful private gardens on an ongoing basis. This afternoon in the veripouring rain was my first sojourn there, a get to know you kind of thing, and along the way and by happenstance I met one of the real greats of the garden photography world who happened to be shooting there today too.

veriPouring rain, the big Manfrotto (has collected actual dust since the last time I took it out in the field), the 50/2 shut way down to f/11, shot raw+hq, as usual couldn’t even come close to the Olympus jpeg engine in ACR, so here it is aside from a resize straight OOC.

What a blessing today has been, as persistent and relentless as the rain, or the cyclist-extras across the street shooting the same movie scene over and over; they’re filming a movie in front of my house, again.
