North Rustico Harbour beach here, taking a break from lighthouses for a moment to buy me some time for the research and the writing of my West Point light feature. And while it’s true fate found me in North Rustico because there is a lighthouse there, while I was shooting said light, a few minutes after this picture was taken, that storm one might notice in the sky hit. And not with a gust or a hint or a suggestion, or even a stillness of seduction for that matter, it hit like the apocalypse. That event and its star, the North Rustico light, will make the site in a week or so. West point light is the next, and probably one more before we visit North Rustico again.
