A break from the ducks today, though I’m sure there’ll be more to come as ‘round here this time of year they’re the easiest wildlife to come by for practicing. Man, what terrible thing did you to end up having to paint a red line along 300 feet of ship? And these guys are floating on a tiny float, it must bob like hell every time a seaplane lands or a harbour seal gets all uppity. Well, I guess someone has to do this job to keep the coho, well, not pretty, but also not quite pretty ugly. And by the standards of ships, the Coho is mercifully small.
I’ll be doing a write up on the new lens next week sometime once I’ve had a chance to use it a bit more. So far, I’m absolutely thrilled with it and I’m really looking forward to taking it out lots and lots as winter winds into spring and onward.
