the daily picture, but also a thumbnail of the splashy duck from a week or so ago. the reason for the reprise is that off the original post i had a few orders for prints, and when getting them printed i had a few extra copies made as some others of you have also expressed interest. the prints are 11x14, printed on crystal archive paper, and if you order one, i think you'll agree they look fabulous. the image in the original entry was punched up a bit for web and the 800x600 size i use for this site because my daily entries rely more on initial impact than a print you'd hang on your wall and look at again and again. when it came time for the hard copy, i went back to the original raw file and broke a sweat over every pixel. anyway, this is a marketing post. i have a very small number of 11x14 prints remaining from the first run and i'm making them available to my loyal readers for just $75, print only, or $200 matted and framed*. i'll also be signing them and numbering them out of this very limited series of seven before deleting the original psd file and starting over from raw - the subsequent prints will look pretty much exactly the same but will not be part of this original series, and will be offered at the regular somewhat more substantial price. drop me an email if you'd like one of these prints. each one sold benefits a good cause, that is, getting me one small step closer to the new olympus e-3. oh geez, what a camera. *plus shipping and handling in the case of framed product, TBD based on location. •
