lots of x-rays yesterday, i'd say i've had my dose of ionizing radiation for the year. i guess i'll know something about what's going on next week. for now i am much more mobile, it's only the first few hours after waking that i feel a hundred years old, and i also can't drive for much more than 20 minutes without seizing up pretty tight.

autumn already? well maybe not quite, but there does seem to be a bit of a gust of september in the air. regardless, the last few days have been sunny and warm and beautiful, of the sort i'm used to all summer long. today's picture of a cat otherwise unknown to me is a heavy crop, not quite 1:1 but close to. brilliant shot? perhaps no, but there's something to it i really like. not sure exactly what, but it makes me smile.
