turns out city and colour is just one fellow, dallas green. regardless, his simple guitar melodies, interstitial self-deprecating monologues, and above all his truly powerful and wide-ranging singing voice, easily filled the whole stage at open air tonight, and pretty much all of centenial square. i'm really happy i had the opportunity to go, and to go backstage too where the lack of pretension presented on-stage was magnified by his whole entourage. check him out next time he's in town.
